As a writer, I have been composing since high school and arranging professionally since 1991. I have written for many high schools across the country including Avon (IN) and Center Grove (IN). As a side project while at the Star of Indiana in 1993, I composed Split Complimentaries for 4 Baritones and 4 Mellophones for the DCI Individual and Ensemble competition. The performance of this piece at DCI earned a perfect score of 100. I later re-composed this piece for Blast, and it is still being performed daily.
